This is a four-movement ambient EP built around variations of a Max/MSP patch I made in 2016. The original patch, called sleep.maxpat, was a simple system of three voices that would each play a random note from a predetermined bank, at a predetermined time interval unique to each voice. Each movement contains a unique variation of this original patch combined with additional textures and voices made using field recordings, samples, analog synthesizers, modular synthesizers and piano.
